Piedmont Feed & Garden Center has been in business for 20 years, originally owned and operated by Harold Newton of Hillsborough. Mr. Newton retired in 2004.

We strive to offer great service and products, and we are proud to be an integral part of our community. We sponsor an annual fundraiser to benefit the Orange County Future Farmers of America (FFA). We regularly host educational events for animal owners, and we strongly support CLAWS, a local non-profit organization that offers refuge to orphaned and abandoned exotic animals.

Animal feed is the leading agri-business sector in American agriculture today, and Purina Mills is the largest feed manufacturer in the country. Its products are identified by the checkerboard logo and the Chow brand of feed.
